Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood writer and actor who has received critical recognition for her talents. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the third oldest siblings born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper as well as Anne a psychologist. She's English and Scottish heritage. Due to her father's job the Moore family often relocated and she had to work hard to make friendships, or to keep ones. Moore was able to start acting in plays as she travelled with her family to Germany. She furthered her education in Boston University, graduating in 1983 with a B.F.A. in Theater. Moore was a graduate of college in New York and started her profession as an off-Broadway actor after moving from New York. Moore first appeared on an episode of The Edge of Night, that aired on TV in 1985. Her break came in 1986 when she portrayed the role as Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes on The World Changes. She was on As the World Turns through 1988. For her role, she received the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 her first appearance as an actor in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Later she described it as the film with a small budget. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The film was critically acclaimed and Moore won multiple nominations. Moore's debut lead role was in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to play the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. It was among the most popular films released that year. In 1999 she starred in the critically-acclaimed Magnolia and earned an SAG Award nomination in recognition of her work. The Hours was her co-starring performance in 2002. it earned nine Academy Award nominations, including Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2003), Freedomland (2005), Shelter (2010) and many other movies. Non-Stop the film in which where she was a part of the cast in 2014, was released. Moore has appeared in countless movies and television series. Moore has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows. She was most recently seen in In When You Finish Save the World 2022. Her acting career in Hollywood is well established as well as her work as an author of children's novels. The first book she published was Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and was a N.Y.T. bestseller. The bestseller was later made into a movie, series and even a musical. Her book of 2013 entitled My Mom is A Foreigner, was also a bestseller. Moore is a popular author and performer is also known for making her personal life public. She split from John Robin in 1995. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her kids.
